Dubbed the city of heroes, the city of Baise in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has always been celebrated for its history known for such CPC revolutionaries as Deng Xiaoping, Zhang Yunyi and Wei Baqun who led the famous Baise Uprising which proved to be beneficial in Chinese revolutionary history. Bequeathed with abundant mineral resources, picturesque landscapes and diverse ethnic customs, people of various ethnic groups prosper in this area. With its unique natural and ethnic cultural features, Baise has evolved into a famous destination for red tourism, ecotourism, wellness tourism and cultural tourism.
From the December of 2013 until now, painters of Lijiang School of Chinese Painting pay tribute the great designer of China’s reform and opening-up by depicting the scenery and ethnic customs in the area as well as achievement through the past few decades. In November of this year, the audience will enjoy the exhibition on the third floor of NAMOC.
